The Trek begins from Nayapul, which is an hours scenic drive from Pokhara with some fabulous views of Annapurna (South) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) en route . From Nayapul, a half an hours walk brings us to Birethanti, situated at the confluence of Modi and Bhurung rivers, here the route divides. We take the West trail towards Ghorepani, a trading village situated at an elevation of 2750 m., where there is a tremendous vantage point (Poon hill – 3194 m.) to view both the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himal. The views at sunrise from Poon hill are simply stunning. From Ghorepani, the trail leads East to the hamlet of Tadapani and on towards Chhomrong, from where we commence our journey into the Annapurna Sanctuary and onwards to Annapurna Base Camp. The journey to base camp follows the valley in between the huge ramparts of Himchuli & Machhapuchhre, eventually emerging into an awesome Amphitheater, where a labyrinth of mountains and Annapurna I tower almost vertically above us.
Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu:
you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle and briefed about your trekking program and the equipments you will require during the trekking period and other important aspects related to trekking. In the late afternoon visit swoyambhunath or monkey temple to have a spectacular birds eye view of Kathmandu and on a clear wintry day you can see beautiful mountain views of the Ganesh Himal.
Perched atop a hill on the western edge of the Kathmandu Valley, the ancient Swayambunath Stupa (known to tourists as the Monkey Temple) is most important Buddhist shrine.When this temple was founded about 2,000 years ago; Kathmandu Valley was filled with a great lake. According to Buddhist legend, a single perfect lotus grew in the center of the lake. When the bodhisattva Manjusri drained the lake with a slash of his sword, the lotus flower settled on top of the hill and magically transformed into the stupa. Thus it is known as the Self-Created (swayambhu) Stupa.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries.The Palace Complex was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century. The palace is decorated with elaborately-carved wooden windows and panels and it houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum and the Mahendra Museum.
Day 02: Drive Kathmandu – Pokhara: (200km / 6 hrs.)
Today after breakfast you drive west to Pokhara. The drive will take you around six hours and on the way you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and rural villages of Nepal, and you drive along the course of Trisuli River On reaching Pokhara check in to your hotel in Lakeside. The rest of the day is at your leisure and you can do anything of your interest. Overnight in Hotel pokhara
Day 03: Drive to Naya Pul and trek to Tikhe Dhunga(1495m):
After breakfast you drive to Naya Pul which means new bridge in Nepali in a private vehicle which is 42 kms and start trekking to Tikhe Dhunga. On the way you pass through Birethanti and you can have great views of the pastures and bamboo forests and water falls and springs, you have lunch in Ramghai and after trekking for about 4 hours you reach Tikhe Dhunga. Overnight in Guest House.
Day 04:Trek from Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani(2850m):
After breakfast you start trek the trail goes up through as many as 3000 steps so we start the day in the morning before the sun heat the trail takes you through beautiful pastures and cultivated fields and you pass through a large Magar village called Ulleri at 2080m. You stop in Nangethanti for lunch and slowly trek towards Ghorepani after Nagethati . Ghorepani in Nepali means water-drinking spot for horses and this was the popular spot for pony caravans. You reach Ghorepani after trekking for around six hours and from here you can enjoy the spectacular views of Dhaulagiri I(8091m), Hiunchuli(6441m) and Tarke Kang(7193m). Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 05: Ghorepani(2850m) to Poon Hill (3180m) and Trek to Tadapani(2520m):
Early in the morning you take a side trip Hiking to Poon Hills from where you can enjoy the majestic views of the Himalayas and sunrise. After spending about an hour you trek back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then trek to Tadapani. After an hours walk you reach Deurali(2960m) passing through beautiful pine and Rhododendron forests and then trek to Banthanti where you will have lunch and then start trek to Tadapani. From Tadapani you can enjoy very beautiful views of Machhapuchre ( Fish tail) overnight stay at Tadapani this evening you will enjoy with local people with welcome music and dance.
Day:06: Trek from Tadapani to Chomrong: It takes about five hours.
It is a very easy trek by descending gently all the way through Rhododendron, Oak and other kinds of dense forests. You could hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way to Kimrung Khola in this village you will have lunch after that continue to Chomrong which is the main gateway to Annapurna Base Camp trek and inhabited by Gurung community. From Chhomrong you will see Annapurna South and Fishtail from a very close range tonight stay in Guest house.
Day 7: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2630m.):
It takes about five hours; the trail passes through beautiful forests of Bamboo, Rhododendron and Oak. Climbing further on a rocky trail you reach Sinuwa, at 2350m and continue to Dovan. Overnight stay in guest house.
Day 08: Trek from Dovan to Machhapuchhere Base camp (3810m.):
It takes about five hours trek to Machhapuchhere base camp After a short trek, you reach Himalayan Hotel (2900m.). Beyond it, the trail is a steep ascent up to Hinko Cave (3160m.). It takes approximately twenty-five minutes through ascent path to reach MBC. Today the trail goes slightly up an hours walk to reach Deurali after deurali you will walk above 3000m so it might be a bit cold and you might feel a bit weak sometimes but we walk slowly in same speed so no problem. Overnight stay in Machhapuchere base camp
Day09: Base camp to ABC and trek back to dovan:
In the morning hike up Annapurna Base Camp (4170 m.) via Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3820m.): it takes about two hours. You can enjoy the views of Mount Hiunchuli (6441m.), Annapurna South (7229m.), Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna III (7555m.), Gangapurna (7454m.) and Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.). Have breakfast in ABC with panoramic views of the Himalayas and trek to Dovan (2630m.): It takes about five hours.
Day10: Trek from Dovan to Jhinudanda to spring (1750m.):
It takes about six hours. The trail passes through forests with varieties of Rhododendron, Oaks and Bamboo plants.The last part of the trail is steeply down to Jhinudanda. From the town after walking down for 20 minutes you reach Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola. You can relax at Hot Spring or take a hot bath as it is believed if you take a bath here it will cure you of your body diseases.
Day11: Trek from Jhinudanda to Nay pul drive to pokhara:
After breakfast we will walk along the modi river which flows from Annapurna base camp and continue walking through villages, rice fields and terraced fields after around 4 hours we will arrive in Birethati where we have hot lunch with fresh fish items from river.After lunch walk around 30 minutes to get to Nayapul where our vehicle will be waiting for us and our trekking ends here with beautiful memories. Now drive back to pokhara enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants available in lakeside as per your choice.Overnight in hotel.
Day 12: Pokhara rest day and city tour:
Early in the morning drive to Sarankot, this is a 40mins, drive. Sarankot is famous for Sunrise and Mountain views and you can enjoy the spectacular views of Fishtail and Annapurna ranges from here. After a warm drink drive back to Hotel and after breakfast you will visit the following places.
Pokhara is the only place in the world from where one can enjoy the magnificent views of mountains having elevation above 8000m while sitting below 1000m above sea level. One of Nepal’s most beautiful spots, Phewa Tal is surrounded by a combination of monkey-filled forests and the high white peaks. Hire a boat and row yourself across the lake.
Seti Gandaki and Seti Gorge are other two important places to visit in Pokhara. The Seti gandaki flows right through the city, it runs completely underground at many places. There is a local myth that the entire land of Pokhara floats on the Seti River.
The Barahi temple is the most important monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the center of Phewa Lake, this two-storyed pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of’ Ajima, the protecters deity representing- the female force Shakti.
The Old Bazaar:
Pokhara’s traditional bazaar is colorful in its temples and monuments can be seen ties to the Newar architecture of the Kathmandu Valley.The old bazaar is also home to one of Pokhara’s most important shrines’. Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu upon arrival in Kathmandu free time for personal activities

Bouddhanath is among the largest stupas in south Asia, and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms thirty-six meters overhead. The stupa is located on the ancient trade route to Tibet. When refugees entered Nepal from Tibet in the 1950s, many of them decided to live around Bouddhanath.
Patan Durbar Square complex, situated in the center of Patan city, also known as Lalitpur houses the residence of the former Patan royal family. Patan Square and its surroundings is good specimen of ancient Newari architecture.Several multi-sized and multi-styled temples occupy the western part of the complex. Main among these is Krishna Temple, Bhimsen Temple and the Golden Temple of Hiranya Varna.
In the Late afternoon free time for shopping and personal activities and in the evening enjoy a farewell dinner in a typical Nepali cultural restaurant with cultural dance.
Day 16: End of your Nepal Tour. Transfer to airport in a private car for your final departure to your destination.
