Day 01: By Bus: KATHMANDU – KYIRUNG BOARDER (145km, 8-9hrs).
Our staff will pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu in the morning and then we will drive along small mountain road to the border at Nepalese side; on the way you can enjoy the waterfall, river, gorges, forest. Finally, we will arrive border Overnight in Nepal side at Guest House .
Day 02: KYIRUNG – OLD TINGRI (4300m – 230km).
Nepalese country side and border Tibet Immigration on formalities of Nepalese Immigration an one hours .Drive to adventures uphill Drive to Kyirung (Make the PSP permit )Lunch break than after around 40km drive, you will reach Kyirong county, on the way visit beautiful waterfall Mila Repa cave. You need hike to Mila Repa cave from the main road which takes you between half an hour or forty minutes. Continue driving through Kyirong pass at the elevation of over 4900m and then drive along Pekutso lake and continue to Old Dingri at the distance of around 180Km from Kyirong county. The scenery is extremely beautiful with Shisha Bangma snow mountain on the right and Pekutso on the left .
Day 03: OLD TINGRI – SHIGATSE (3900m – 300km).
If the weather is nice, you will enjoy a great view of Mount Everest from Old Dingri and continue driving through friendship highway, passing the highest pass called Gyatso la at the elevation of 5200m, seeing beautiful prayer flags and continue driving towards Shigatse, pass by Lhatse county and then continue to Shigatse at the distance of 150Km. You will enjoy seeing beautiful Tibetan farmers villages with their beautiful Tibetan traditional houses with prayer flags on the roof top.
Day 04: SHIGATSE – GYANTSE (3950m – 90km).
After visiting Tashi Lumpo Monastery in the morning, drive to Gyantse of 02 hrs. Gyantse is small busting town steeped in history. It lays 264 kms of south-west of Lhasa on the northern bank of Nyang Chu River. In the 15th century it served as the capital of a small Kingdom. Visit Kumbum Chorten which was built around 1400 AD. Overnight in Gyantse.
Day 05: GYANTSE – YAMDROK – LHASA (3650m – 261km).
You will start your tour at around 9am from your hotel and then drive towards Lhasa via 3 big mountain passes, Simila, Karo La, Kampa La, respectively. Karola is the highest pass among them which is over 5000Mts with it’s most beautiful glaciers, beautiful Yamdrok lake emerged as coral color from the top of Kampala pass. You will have your lunch at Nakartse country which is just between the Yamdrok lake and Karola glaciers.
Day 06 & 07: Sightseeing in LHASA
Day 08: By Plane: LHASA – KATHMANDU.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Gonggor airport of 02 hrs drive. You will have a flight to Kathmandu from Lhasa would be approx. 10.00hrs Air China. During the flight you will see the following: Yarlung Tsangpo River, Lake Yamdrok, Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m) and Mt. Makalu (8463m) and Mt. Everest (8848m). Weather permitting).
